Nebbiolo Grappa Riserve had already matured in wooden casks for some years and then it was refined in Portoguese barrels for about 24 months. These barrels had been previously used to mature a “vintage Porto” of one of the most prestigious wineries. This particulary kind of passage, already tried for whiskey, and experimented by Sibona Distillery on grappa, has proven to be exceptional as regards grappa’s quality results. Its particula and delicate bouquet and unique flavour, full and elegant with a fruity aftertaste, recall those of Porto.
