Speyside malt whisky

Balvenie Peat Week betreft een 14 jaar oude whisky welke op basis van geturfd gerst is vervaardigd. Men is bij Balvenie slechts één week per jaar bezig met het drogen van gerst op een 100% turfbasis, waardoor dit een bijzonder exemplaar is.

Een evenwichtige, zachte single malt uit de Speyside. Cardhu is een zeer goed samengestelde malt.

Een cask strength 2010 single malt van Benromach die uitsluitend is gerijpt in first-fill vaten, waardoor een fruitig, zacht rokerig karakter ontstaat. Aroma's van rijke sherry, bakkruiden, sinaasappelschil en donkere chocolade vullen de neus, aangevuld met tonen van gestoofd fruit, kaneelgebakken appels, donkere honing, rode bessen, gebarsten zwarte peper, zachte rook en met pure chocolade omhulde koffiebonen in de neus.

Het is bekend dat de Mortlach 13 years Special Release 2021 rijpt op een mix van refill en virgin oak vaten. Vleesachtige geuren, zoals we deze vaker tegenkomen bij Mortlach, komen samen met rijke aroma's van hout.

TIME : SPACE Mastery is een distillaat van 200 jaar aan geleerd vakmanschap, naadloos verweven in elk onderdeel van het whiskyproductieproces. Het viert de gemeenschap in de kern, aangezien elke hand, elk hart dat betrokken is bij deze opmerkelijke geest vormgeeft.

Benromach 10 years is a beautiful amber colored single malt whiskey with aromas of rich sherry, fine herbs and green apples that pass into malty biscuit and a hint of light peat smoke.

A Glenrothes 12 Year Old in classic style: fruity and sweet. Aged solely in sherry-seasoned casks, this Speyside whisky has notes of vanilla, melon, banana and cinnamon.  This 12-year-old whisky is part of The Soleo Collection: a range of five whiskies from The Glenrothes, ranging from 10 to 25 years old, which pay homage to the grapes from which some sherries, such as Pedro Ximénez, are made.

A great whisky for those looking to try Glenrothes for the first time. This sweet, zesty dram has a yellow label that denotes the colour of the grape at the point it is plucked from the vine.

Made by blending 18-year-old whisky from European and American oak casks, both of which are seasoned with sherry, this is a warming, sweet single malt and the pinnacle of Macallan's Double Cask range.

A rich and sherried expression from Mortlach that's will always be compared to the fan-favourite 16-year-old Flora & Fauna bottling. This is more balanced than that discontinued dram, with a mix of first-fill and refill sherry casks giving a wider range of sherry-cask character, from rich and dark dried fruit to plump and juicy berries.

De Mortlach 20 years old Cowie’s Blue Seal is een 20 jaar oude Speyside single malt van de Mortlach distilleerderij. Deze Mortlach heeft gerijpt in ex sherry casks en refill vaten en is gebotteld op 43,4%.

Geïnspireerd en gevormd door de Master Whisky Maker. Zijn vakmanschap komt terug bij het selecteren van de beste 100% first-fill ex-sherry vaten en botteling met de door de Whisky maker gekozen sterkte.

A 15-year-old Glenallachie single malt, matured in a combination of Pedro Ximenez and oloroso sherry casks, creating a smooth, rich character. Aromas of raisins, butterscotch and sweet spices fill the nose, and the palate offers notes of dark chocolate, orange peel, banana, raisins and caramel.
