A peaty offering and a vatted malt created by the renowned John Glaser, of Compass Box. The Peat Monster contains whisky from secret distilleries (all very cloak and dagger). They can tell us that some was from the village of Port Askaig in Islay, with some south coast Islay whisky too, vatted with Ardmore.

De distilleerderij staat in Blackford, Perthshire. Werd in 1994 gesloten, maar in 2003 door vier inversteerders aangekocht en weer in werking gezet. Er wordt nu uitsluitend voor malt whisky geproduceerd.

Released in 2013, this fabulous bottling from Tullibardine sees the rich, malty whisky finished for 12 months in top-quality 500-litre sherry butts. The result is something to behold.

The third batch of Benromach's Cask Strength Vintage 2012 single malt was matured in a combination of bourbon and first-fill sherry casks until it was bottled in 2022. The palate brings notes of rich spices, stewed fruit, Seville orange zest, toasted oak and whispers of smoke that linger in the finish.
